BaseCodeByte (www.basecodebyte.com) is a free educational website. No account is required to use any part of this service. We do not collect personal information.

We do not collect, store, or process:

• Account credentials (there are no accounts)
• Payment information (this service is free)
• The C++ code you write or run in the notebook

All code execution happens locally in your browser using JSCPP, a JavaScript-based C++ interpreter. No code is sent to our servers.

We use browser localStorage to remember one user preference:

• basecodebyte-theme: your light/dark mode preference. Stored in localStorage. No expiry. Never sent to a server.

If Google AdSense advertising is enabled in the future, additional cookies may be placed by Google. This Privacy Policy will be updated before any advertising is activated.
